Anyone who completes the basic security guard training and passes the regulatory authority test can get a security guard license.
Most countries have a federal or state government agency responsible for taking the test and issuing the security guard license.
The private security regulatory authority supervises the security companies and security guards and punishes them if the regulation is violated.
The licensing procedure can be different from country to country but most of the training topics are similar except for rights and privileges and law and security regulations of the country.
Without having a security guard license you may not allow to work as a security guard in your country or the country where you want to work.
