The SIRA or the Security regulatory authority in Dubai is the organization that oversees the security industries and security personnel for making sure that they have met the state security regulation. Sira license in Dubai is necessary for the security personnel and security firm to operate in the field of security.

The process for being the security guard in the UAE completes in 4 phases including;

1. selection,
2. training,
3. exam and
4. licensing.

Although you are not hired from any security companies in Dubai you can get the security guard license after taking the SIRA training in the SCTC (SIRA CADRE TRAINING CENTER)

If you come for security guard training through any security industries you should not worry about course booking, transportation in addition the company is responsible to pay your course fee.

Step-1: Visit the SCTC website

After visiting the sira official website scroll down the page and chose the course you willing to take. If you want to visit now follow this link 

Step 2: Download the application form

Fill the form as per requirement, after completing it, send an email to [email protected] with attaching the duly filled form. The Sira will review your application and reply to your email with guidelines for further process.

Step 3 Visit the SIRA cadre academy

After receiving the confirmation email from SIRA you should go to the Sira Cadre Training Center with the following documents.

• Application Form
• 2 Color Passport size photos
• 2 Passport copies or
• Emirates ID copies (Front & Back) in color

The person who is in a visitor or tourist visa, no need to require the Emirates ID for submission. You should pay the  Sira training course fee at SCTC office the available payment methods are;

• Bank deposit Receipt
• Current Dated Cheque
• DEBIT CARD
• CREDIT CARD

Considering the security matter, the security guard candidates need to take some additional training out of the SIRA, which provides by different departments of the Dubai government

1. SAFER FIRE SAFETY: Easily we understand FIRE FIGHTING is provided by another government body (Civil Defense) so you should pay separately. It costs you an extra AED 546.

2. Dealing with People of Determination

This Program is also an additional training which gives in the Dubai police academy. If you want to take this training must apply first and pay the fee in the DPA office. The cost of this training is not high only for AED 50.
